The first tests explored our blocks and materiality. We learned that if you don't prompt the kids, they'll figure out how to play with the toys based on context (ie: we gave them the blocks outside, they are about the size of a ball, so let's throw them!) Needless to say, there were a lot of small cubes flying about, which wouldn't have been as terrifying if most of them hadn't been made of concrete and super-shatterable acrylic. The kids were ecstatic.
